How a hand works

• Minutes 0–5, seating. Buy in with one transaction. Up to six players, plus the house.
• Minute 5, the deal. Your two hole cards come from a block after seating closes. Only you can see them.
• The board comes out on the clock: the flop at 15, the turn at 30, the river at 45. Each card comes from a block after its time, so nobody can see it coming.
• Once a street, you move: fold, stay (free: do nothing) or raise. Raising puts more of your money in, and you can only win a pot up to your own stake from each other player.
• Minutes 55–60, showdown. Reveal your hand with one transaction. The best hand still in takes the pot. A hand that isn't revealed counts as folded.

The money

• Every buy-in and raise: 80% into the pot, 20% goes to buy the token and burn it.
• The pot is only what players put in. Nothing is seeded.
• The house plays a fixed rule: it always stays and never raises. Its two cards are drawn at showdown. Any pot the house wins, or ties for, rolls into the next hand.
• Winnings are held for you in the contract. Collect them any time.

Fair, and where it isn't perfect

• Nothing on a public chain is truly secret. Your cards are hidden by a commit–reveal: you commit a secret when you buy in, and your cards are made from that secret plus the deal block. You reveal the secret at showdown.
• Your secret comes from signing a message with your wallet, so you can recover it on any device. Don't share that signature.
• Each hole pair comes from its player's own deck and the board from the table's, so a card can appear twice.
• Randomness comes from block hashes. The chain's sequencer produces those blocks and could in theory influence them.
